Welcome to c3 Library!
We are excited to launch this initiative based around the three “C’s” that surround New Media. Content, Community, and Conversations. The goal of this initiative is simple. The Convergence of Libraries with Social Technology!
Please check back with us often to the latest and greatest with c3!

Good luck! I look forward to seeing the results and effects of this initiative! Cheers!
Fantastic concept! Way to go Anne and ICFL people! I would leave you with a suggestion: don’t force people to register/login to your site if they want to make a comment–open up the system and let the people have their say!
You shouldn’t have to login now!
Go For it!
After attending Justin’s blog class at the Reg.4 Spring Conference, I was finally convinced and informed that there is a REASON for blogging. Up to that point, I simply saw it as another way to IM, email, or share thoughts but now I understand it to be SUBJECT oriented, tagable, and not needing others comments. I even promised Tina (J-town’s Digital guru) that I would post weekly on our site (as soon as she shows me how and where to do it). As a Director, there are so many tasks pulling on us every day, I had to believe that blogging was more than something to do to just look techy…I now see its merit and look forward to weekly pontificating for the world to read about the glories of the JPL team and all the wonders they accomplish.
I felt Junstin’s “Rules of Blogging”, were right on the mark. Using a blog to talk and not preach is encouraging. Everyone has something to say, but conversing about something you have a passion for makes for a good read!
