So does anyone use Teleflip https://www1.teleflip.com/ (converts your email into a text message sent to your phone) or a similar service?  I was reading a post from 2006 http://www.librarycrunch.com/2006/01/easily_pushing_info_via_text_m.html  which got me started on this subject.
