On May 2, the Soda Springs Public Library hosted a successful Artifact Roadshow evening. The library hosted Randy Thompson, Forest Archaeologist for Caribou-Targhee National Forests, and Amy Lamper, from the BLM of Pocatello. They were joined by our own resident archaeologist, Diana Mickelson, who is on staff at the library. Each helped local patrons identify genuine or reproduction artifacts. Some patrons learned how to use the internet to learn more about their objects.
The most popular items brought in were old bottles and arrowheads. The Caribou County Historical Society brought items from the local Pioneer Museum.

Local Patrons had fun socializing, munching on snacks, and sharing their objects. Overall it was a fun event!
